Acropolis and Temple of Poseidon Full-Day Private Tour from Athens
This full-day private tour covers two of Greece's most significant ancient sites: the Acropolis in central Athens and the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio, roughly 70 kilometres to the south. The entire group travels in a private, air-conditioned vehicle with WiFi, mobile chargers, and Spotify on board. Your driver-guide provides commentary on Greek history throughout the day, and no other groups share the vehicle.
At the Acropolis, the tour takes in the hilltop complex including the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Propylaea. The site rises above the city and offers broad views over Athens. Entrance fees are paid at the gate and are not included in the tour price (€30 per person).
From Athens, the tour travels south along the Attica coast to Cape Sounio, where the Temple of Poseidon stands on a cliff edge above the Aegean Sea. Built in the 5th century BC, the temple served as a navigation landmark for ancient sailors. Entrance is paid separately at the site (€12 per person). The return follows the coastal road back to Athens.
Pickup is from your Athens accommodation at the address you provide. Snacks and bottled water are included. Lunch is not. A licensed guide is available on request for an additional fee, and airport-area pickup can also be arranged on request for an extra charge per group.
