This morning catamaran cruise leaves Kissamos Port at 08:30 and heads directly to Balos Lagoon, arriving early before the main crowds. The catamaran anchors offshore; a speedboat tender shuttles guests directly to the white-and-pink sand beach for swimming and snorkeling. The lagoon stop lasts nearly three hours, giving guests time to wade the shallows, use the SUP boards, or simply swim.
From Balos, the cruise moves to Gramvousa Bay — an uninhabited island with a Venetian castle — for an optional swim or shoreline walk. Lunch is served back on the catamaran decks: a freshly prepared Cretan meal with three menu options. Throughout the day, Cretan snacks and a light brunch are available alongside unlimited coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks.
The vessel is a large luxury catamaran fitted with sunbeds, shaded lounges, a freshwater outdoor shower, free Wi-Fi, and a sound system. A professional onboard animator runs music sets and teaches traditional Greek dances including the Sirtaki. Water sports equipment — SUP boards, snorkeling masks and fins, swim vests, inflatables — is available to all guests throughout the cruise.
All guests in the Comfort tier bring their own towel; VIP upgrade (€30 adults, €20 children, on request) adds a reserved sunbed, fresh towel, souvenir bracelet, and a small bottle of wine or beer. Complimentary round-trip hotel transfers are included for guests staying anywhere between Georgioupoli and Kissamos. The cruise is not suitable for pregnant women, children under 2, guests with serious mobility limitations, or anyone prone to severe seasickness. Every passenger must provide full name, date of birth, and passport or ID number at booking to meet port authority requirements.
