This afternoon cruise departs Souda Port at 16:30 on a Lagoon 450F catamaran, sailing along the Akrotiri peninsula toward Marathi Bay. The bay is known for its twin sandy beaches, shallow water, and wind-sheltered conditions — making it a reliable stop for swimming and snorkeling regardless of experience level. The White Mountains form the backdrop as the anchor drops.
Once anchored, guests can use the inflatable water slide, sea scooter, stand-up paddleboards, and premium snorkeling gear. The catamaran carries a maximum of 20 guests, so access to equipment is not crowded. Wide front sunbeds, shaded lounges, and netting provide space to relax between activities.
Food and drink service begins after anchor. The crew serves a sushi roll platter, Mediterranean finger foods, fresh seasonal fruit, and children's chicken bao buns on request. The open bar includes local white wine, Greek beer, soft drinks, espresso, tea, detox waters, and protein cocktails. The return leg at 19:00 positions guests on the open sea facing the sunset.
The vessel is equipped with free Wi-Fi, a marine audio system, freshwater outdoor shower, and marine WCs. Full liability insurance is included. Every passenger must provide full name, date of birth, and passport or ID number at booking — a Port Authority requirement. Due to port regulations, late arrivals cannot be accommodated and the vessel will depart on schedule. Note: from 1 April to 14 April, and from 1 September to 31 October, departures are 30 minutes earlier than the standard 16:30 time to align with the earlier sunset.
